Application of silicon carbide composite materials in intumescent fire retardant coatings
Intumescent fire retardant coatings have obvious effects in blocking the rapid impact of substrates. The type of intumescent fire retardant coating detergent and the composite material content have an impact on the fire retardant performance of the fire retardant coating. The results show that adding silicon carbide can better improve the performance of fire retardant coatings. As the PANI-SiC content increases, the expansion ratio of the coating increases and the backside temperature decreases. The fiber coating of the composite material with a content of 10% shows excellent fire resistance.
