1. Product Introduction
AlSiC (Aluminum Matrix Silicon Carbide Composite) is a high-performance composite material using SiC particles as reinforcement and aluminum alloy as matrix. It features high thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, high purity and controllable particle size.
Overview of Green Silicon Carbide
Green silicon carbide is produced by high-temperature smelting in resistance furnaces, with petroleum coke, quartz sand and wood chips as main raw materials and salt as additive. The synthesized α-SiC crystals possess high purity, extreme hardness and superior mechanical strength.
It appears green and translucent with hexagonal crystal microstructure. Its SiC content is higher than black silicon carbide. Although its physical properties are similar to black SiC, it is slightly more brittle. It has excellent thermal conductivity and semiconductor characteristics.

4. Application of Green Silicon Carbide Micropowder
Green silicon carbide micropowder is widely used for grinding hard glass, slicing monocrystalline silicon and polycrystalline silicon rods, lapping monocrystalline silicon wafers, machining superhard metals, processing soft metals such as copper and copper alloys, and manufacturing various resin materials.
